Some questions
need a bigger sky.

I’ve been fascinated by astronomy since childhood, including a visit to space camp. That curiosity is still very much alive.

A STUDY IN CURIOSITY

What keeps me looking up.

A LONGSTANDING INTEREST

The scale of everything

Space offers an unusual mix of recognizable patterns and things that are difficult to picture at all. It’s an interest I’ve carried with me for years.

A QUESTION I FOLLOW

Planet Nine

I’m especially interested in the possibility of a distant, undiscovered planet in our Solar System, and in how astronomers test that idea.

The prospect of a major discovery close to home makes the question particularly compelling to me.

WHY IT STICKS

Curiosity without a deadline

This is an interest I follow because I enjoy it — a reason to keep asking questions and reading about the universe.
